| Shipwreck Locator by Prop Labs is a application that visually displays all know locations of shipwrecks, obstacles, and debris fields. The data included is based on NOAA’s Office of Coast Survey’s (OCS) Automated Wreck and Obstruction Information System (AWOIS) database. Data includes locations in the Great Lakes, around Florida, Delaware, California, in the Gulf of Mexico, and EVERYWHERE IN BETWEEN!
With over 15,000 mapped datapoints all around the United State’s coasts, we believe this isTHE most comprehensive wreck and obstruction database ever created! If you’re a scuba diver looking for an unexplored wreck or you’re a fisherman looking for that great honey hole, this application will guide you in the right direction. Features include:
To use the interactive map view, simply navigate the map and the application will update the nearest pins dynamically (there are simply to many data point to show all at once!).
